GO TIDES, GO SEAHAWKS!
Sports around the harbor are kicking off and we want to support our talented young athletes that call the harbor home. Football is always a favorite, and this season there are even more ways to cheer on our local teams, from volleyball and cross country to tennis, sailing, swimming, and water polo. Whether you rally behind the Tides or the Seahawks, let's show up and show out for our home teams this season!
November Book Club will feature Starvation Heights by local author Gregg Olsen, a gripping true story of murder, greed, and medical malpractice in the Pacific Northwest. Set in 1911, two wealthy British sisters arrive at a remote Washington sanatorium for a revolutionary fasting treatment, only to find themselves in the disturbing care of Dr. Linda Hazzard.

Join the 4th annual Gig Harbor Witches Brew for some Halloween mischief on the water. Dress in your witchiest attire and paddle to the lighthouse for a festive toast and group photo. Bring your own kayak or paddleboard, or reserve a rental from Deadmans Island Kayak and SUP. This year’s event also supports GHPFish, collecting food and donations for our neighbors in need.

Halloween at Harbornest is one of our favorite times of year! Bring your little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes for an afternoon of free, family-friendly trick-or-treating. We’re especially excited to reveal what Harbornest will be dressed as this year! Stop by the shop, show off your costumes, and enjoy a little Halloween magic with us.
