Why We Gather
We are thrilled to bring Mahjong into Harbornest! Whether you’ve always wanted to learn or you’re simply curious about the tiles everyone is talking about, this is your chance.
Join us for a fun, relaxed introduction to American Mahjong. We’ll walk through the basics, share tips, and gather around the table in true Harbornest fashion connection, laughter, and a little friendly competition. No experience necessary. Just come ready to learn and have fun.
We have one Learn Mahjong event left on March 8th. If you’ve been thinking about joining, now is the time!
We are also offering private Mahjong gatherings. If someone would like to set up a private day or evening for their friends to learn this fun game together, they can reach out to us directly to schedule

Book Club meets the first Thursday of every month at 6 p.m.
This month March Book: Snow Flower and the Secret Fan
we’re reading Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, but you never have to read the book to join us. Come for the conversation, stay for the connection. Grab a snack, sip something cozy, and settle in for an evening that feels like gathering with friends in a harbor living room.
One of the best parts? Book club guests are always the first to know what next month’s read will be.

We can hardly believe it — Harbornest is approaching Year 4!
Beginning March 15th, we are officially opening submissions for our Year 4 Harbornest design. This is an open call to our creative community.
Design Guidelines:
• The font must read “Harbornest” (our brand name/logo must remain intact).
• Artists may create around the Harbornest logo.
• We would love to see a hidden “4” or a visible “4” incorporated into the design.
All submission need to be in by April 15th!
We are so excited to see what our artists create. The winning design will be announced on Monday, April 27th, at the start of our Anniversary Week celebration.

Harbornest Year 4 Design Submission Opens

Event Hours: 10 AM – 6 PM
VIP Happy Hour: 2 PM – 5 PM (RSVP Required)
We are beyond excited to welcome Filson for a full-blown pop-up shop experience at the beautiful Arabella’s Landing Netshed.
For one special day, the Harbornest will transform the Netted into a curated Filson shopping destination featuring both men’s and women’s pieces. This will be an exclusive selection of Filson items — rugged heritage style meets harbor living.
Guests may shop anytime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
From 2 to 5 p.m., we’ll host a special VIP Happy Hour experience. This portion of the event requires an RSVP and will include elevated hospitality and a more intimate shopping atmosphere.
We are so excited to carry Filson in the shop. It is such a fun addition to have Filson here in Gig Harbor, and we are thrilled to bring this heritage brand into our coastal community in a way that feels uniquely Harbornest.
