EVENT SCHEDULE

January at Harbornest is all about coming back to yourself. After a full and festive season, we believe the new year should begin gently—rooted in good habits, connection, and caring for your well-being.
Throughout January, we’re hosting complimentary wellness classes every Monday at 10:00 a.m., led by local fitness instructors we love. These classes are designed to be approachable, welcoming, and energizing—whether you’re easing back into movement or ready to try something new.
Our hope is twofold: to help you kickstart the new year feeling strong and supported, and to introduce you to the incredible instructors and studios right here in our community. Taking care of ourselves—mind, body, and spirit—matters, and January feels like the perfect time to anchor into habits that serve us well all year long.
Each class is free, open to all levels, and simply our way of creating space for you to pause, move, and reconnect.

January 5 — Susan Moore | Better Gym
Functional movement and strength focused on moving well, building confidence, and feeling strong.
January 12 — Katie West | Build + Breathe
A mindful, breath-centered class designed to connect movement, strength, and calm.
January 19 — Laura Corey | The Club
Dynamic, feel-good movement focused on energy, strength, and balance.
January 26 — Amanda Gardner | MOVI Pilates & Fitness
Pilates-inspired movement emphasizing core strength, stability, and intentional flow.

B12 Wellness Mornings with Northwest Medical Arts

January 5th & 19th | 9am 

As part of our Anchored in Wellness month, we’re excited to welcome Northwest Medical Arts into Harbornest for two special wellness mornings in January.
On January 5th and January 19th, starting at 9:00 a.m., their professional medical team will be on-site offering B12 shots for $20—an easy and effective way to support your health as you step into the new year.

Our January Book Club is one of our favorite ways to slow down, connect, and kick off the new year together and we’d love for you to join us.
On January 8th at 6:00 p.m., gather with us at Harbornest for an evening of good conversation, cozy vibes, and community. We’ll be chatting about Mr. Dickens and His Carol, a beautiful and imaginative look at Charles Dickens during the time he wrote A Christmas Carol—perfect for lingering just a little longer in the magic of the season.
This month’s gathering is extra special because you’ll also be the first to hear what our next January book pick will be, giving you something fresh to look forward to as the new year unfolds.
Expect festive snacks, sips, and a welcoming atmosphere where you can come as you are. Whether you’re a longtime book club regular or joining us for the first time, this night is all about connection, inspiration, and enjoying a cozy winter evening together.
No pressure—just come ready to relax, mingle, and leave feeling inspired.

JANUARY BOOK CLUB NIGHT 

As part of our Anchored in Wellness series, we’re thrilled to welcome Gillian Esser, to Harbornest for a very special (and very needed) conversation around menopause, a topic that’s finally getting the attention it deserves.
Dr. Esser is a Gig Harbor–based gynecologist and menopause specialist with a deep passion for women’s health and a gift for making complex topics feel approachable, empowering, and even enjoyable to talk about. With both medical expertise and a relatable, down-to-earth style, she creates space for honest conversation, clarity, and confidence.
During this evening, Gillian will walk us through the do’s, don’ts, and unknowns of menopause—from hormones and symptoms to lifestyle support, wellness strategies, and the myths we’re all ready to let go of.
And because this is Harbornest…Do we dare serve martinis? 🍸
Menopause & Martinis just might be the perfect pairing.
