This month we’re reading The Winemaker’s Wife by Kristin Harmel, a sweeping, dual-timeline novel set in the Champagne region of France. It weaves together a 1940s story of love, resistance, and betrayal at a family-run Champagne house during WWII with a modern-day search that uncovers long-buried secrets (and a few bubbles) along the way.
