Our Mahjong gatherings have become one of the most loved experiences in the shop, bringing together community, laughter, learning, and beautiful table settings. One of our favorite summer traditions is back. Concerts in the Park return to Skansie Park every Tuesday evening beginning July 7th. Grab dinner, stroll the harbor, stop into Harbornest, and enjoy music along the waterfront with family and friends. Summer nights in Gig Harbor truly are magic.
The Waterfront Farmers Market is back, and we love everything about it, the fresh flowers, colorful produce, local vendors, food trucks, and all the charm our darling waterfront market brings to Gig Harbor each summer. Stop into Harbornest before heading to the market and enjoy a complimentary Harbornest Market Bag with purchase every Thursday throughout market season. We can’t wait to see you downtown this summer.

MARITIME GIG FESTIVAL
One of our favorite weekends on the harbor is back! The Maritime Festival parade passes directly in front of Harbornest, making it the perfect stop before a day of festivities. Swing into the shop with your little pirates for jewels, eye patches, bandanas, and fun festive finds for the weekend.
We’re also making this year extra special with K-Spek popping in at Harbornest for her once-a-year custom sweatshirt experience, where guests can design their own one-of-a-kind sweatshirt. Hilary from Skål Cocktails & Crafts will also be joining us Saturday and Sunday serving her famous refreshing mocktails and festive drinks throughout the weekend. We hope you enjoy this wonderful harbor tradition as much as we do.

We are beyond excited to celebrate the 250th year of America and gather together in our beautiful harbor town for one of the most special days of the summer. Join us at Harbornest as we cheer on the parade and celebrate this meaningful day surrounded by community, family, and tradition. There is nothing sweeter than summer on the Gig Harbor waterfront.
One of the most colorful and creative events of the summer is back! Chalk the Harbor transforms the waterfront into a beautiful outdoor art experience for all ages. Swing into Harbornest for extra chalk colors, fun accessories, and little details to help make your artwork even brighter and more creative. We absolutely love this event and all the joy it brings to the harbor.
